    We’re pumped  for the summer months, because we have Groove on Grove every Wednesday at Grove Street Plaza in Jersey City to look forward to!     The Historic Downtown Jersey City Farmer’s Market opens this May as well {through December}, giving you a chance to check out over 25 vendors and some of the freshest produce {perfect for summer BBQs} + yummy bites.

    4/20 Party at South House Jersey City: Thursday, April 20th at 4:00 PM

    Channel your inner Bob Marley this Thursday at South House’s 4/20 party. Doors open at 4 PM, and TJ Kong And The Atomic Bomb will take the stage at 8 PM. Live music + hemp cocktails = one far out celebration, if you ask us.

    Bark At The Moon Fundraiser at Green Rock Tap and Grill: Thursday, April 20th from 5:00 PM – Close

    This Thursday at Green Rock, Samuel Adams is partnering with Green Rock in Hoboken for a fundraiser that will benefit the Liberty Humane Society’s local animal shelter, so come out to support an awesome cause {plus, there will be $3 drafts + $15 pitchers, and did we mention the PUPPY KISSING BOOTH?!} In addition, you’ll have a chance to win some sweet raffle prizes.

     LSC After Dark Freak Show at Liberty Science Center: Thursday, April 20th from 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM 

    It’s the third Thursday of the month, so you know what that means: LSC After Dark. This month’s theme?     If you’re looking for an opportunity to market yourself + network with others, you might want to attend the Hudson County Social’s 3rd annual event in Jersey City Heights this week. Owner of 107 Bowers Gallery and ArtSpace Kristen DeAngelis is going to host a workshop dedicated to marketing yourself as an artist. Your ticket includes munchies + wine, as well as a chance to win art from the gallery. Plus, all proceeds go to charity.

    Art Master Class at Studio B68 at MANA Contemporary in Jersey City: Saturday, April 22nd from 3:00 PM  7:00 PM

    Take painting classes to a whole new level with artist Ekaterina Abramova‘s Mater Class this Saturday, where you’ll be able to paint virtually anything you desire {all skill levels welcome}. The class, much different from any other painting classes, will begin with a meditation session to let the creativity flow + get rid of any anxieties. You will then be guided through the painting process + taught about elements such as composition, structure, etc. Although tickets are $100, you can get 50% your ticket + a friend’s if you bring someone along!
