  • Hoboken Boutiques You Need to Visit: Viola Vita + All Things Bell {Uptown}

    Now that the weather is warming, so many of us have the itch to decorate ourselves head to toe in all things spring. Lucky for 07030 residents {and visitors} there are plenty of great shopping options right within the Mile Square. On Washington between 12th and 13th particularly, there are quite a few lovely and luxe boutiques if you are looking for something a bit unique in regards to your wardrobe. So let’s take a peek at that Uptown Hoboken Style with Viola Vita and All Things Bell.

    First, let’s welcome the new, and oh-so-stylish girl on the block. You may have noticed this bohemian paradise adding some serious flair to upper Washington Street since they opened in late October of last year.

    Seriously though, that window is a dream scene! If you’re a momma or an aunty who likes to go crazy for the little dolls in your life — enter with caution. Not only does this flagship store boast beautiful designs for women with eye-catching tops, tunics, dresses and custom shirts made in the U.S.A and printed fabrics created in India, there are also “Little Bell” styles {aka girls sizes and they are irresistibly ahhhhdorable. Irresistible, we tell you!}.

    Amongst the feminine designs by owner and designer Alicia Bell {also a Hoboken resident}, there are also DL1961 premium jeans in toddler/girl sizes and a curation of appealing accessories for women from designers that are hard to come by. With Mother’s Day around the corner and warm weather adventures lining up, you’ll find a gorgeous little {or big} something for any occasion.

    A staple on this block is our very own delivery service of Florence, Italy’s finest fashions. Owner Mario did not disappoint this season bringing back the coolest pieces for the fashion obsessed. Leather jackets are always a hit this time of year with the in-between temperatures. The ones available have interesting details like lace-up sleeves and athletic inspired sports-band trim {Hello – Gucci, is that you?}.

    And can we have a moment for the footwear? While the selection is trim because this store prides itself on providing rare accessories fit for those with a one-of-a-kind personal taste, the styles that are available are beyond covetable. We’d be crazy if we didn’t mention the bevy of bags lining the wall with something for every taste this spring. Totes for the commuters in innovative color combinations, crossbody bags for the moms that need to be hands-free and new brand GUM {non-leather} designs that lean toward modern shapes are eye candy that hope to be your new arm candy real soon.
