If you won’t be spending the entire weekend eating wings, drinking beer, and watching football, there are a ton of other events happening in our area this Thursday through Sunday {from Oktoberfest celebrations to LSC After Dark, kiddie-yoga, and more}. St. Peter & Paul Oktoberfest in Hoboken — Friday, September 21st + Saturday, September 22nd

Join St. Peter and Paul as they celebrate fun and fellowship within the community at their annual Oktoberfest. The event will feature a Biergarten with German brews {served cold} and festival food including bratwurst and pretzels. There will also be live music and a kids village with a bouncy house, game truck, dunk tank, pumpkin painting, and more. Guests can also participate in the 50/50 grand raffle. Max Challenge 10-Week Challenge Start — Monday, September 24th

The Max Challenge’s first Hoboken 10-Week Challenge officially begins on September 24th {sign up here!}. The program will begin with before pictures and measurements {so you can see how much you have improved over the course of the 10 weeks}. At the end of the program, after having followed the fitness and nutritional components, you will notice the pounds and inches you have lost and the self-confidence you have gained. Not only that, you will jump a little higher, run a little faster, feel lighter on your feet, and smile more. Once you complete the challenge, it is important to maintain this new lifestyle change. Help Hoboken Girl Collect Supplies for Women Rising —Now through Tuesday, October 16th

Hoboken Girl is running a drive to collect tampons, pads, diapers, and wipes for local shelter, Women Rising. Drop-off locations include: European Wax Center, Massage Envy, Amazing Lash, Athleta, Jojo Maman Bébé, Hudson Yoga Project, and Boutique Realty — all in Hoboken.

Find a Hoboken Girl {Friend} Social 2 — Wednesday, September 26th from 6:30PM-9:00PM

Last month, we hosted our first ever Find a Hoboken Girl {Friend} Social — an event specifically designed to bring together women in Hudson County who are looking to make new friends through a fun and interactive way of getting to know other attendees. The first one was so much fun that we’ve decided to host round two THIS Wednesday, September 26th from 6:30PM-9:00PM at the Kolo Klub located at 1422 Grand Street. We hope to see you there! Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike at Hoboken’s Mile Square Theatre — running through October 7th

Mile Square Theatre continues its 2018 season with Christopher Durang’s hilarious comedy about love, life and family, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike. Durang drops a mixed bag of Chekhovian characters in contemporary Bucks County in this comic tour-de-force. Relentlessly silly and smart, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike deservedly won the 2013 Tony Award for Best Play and the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Play. Recommended for ages 13 and up. Liberty Science Center After Dark: Whiskey in the Wild West — Thursday, September 20th from 6:00PM-10:00PM

The Liberty Science Center is transforming into the Wild West for this month’s LSC After Dark. Enjoy a night of adventures inspired by the Wild West along with bull riding, gold searching, whiskey drinking, live music, and more. Get more info here.

Back to School Italian Wine Dinner at Kolo Klub — Thursday, September 20th from 7:00PM-9:30PM

Participants in Fleet Feet’s Long Run will run a four-mile loop up to five times, totaling no more than 20 miles. There will be an aid station as well as water outside of Fleet Feet {604 Washington Street}, where participants will meet in the morning. More info here.
