I never LOVED a bubble tea until I met Vivi Bubble Tea on Washington Street in Hoboken, NJ. Now, I have to limit myself to one or two teas a week because the relationship is getting serious, and I don’t want to make my fiancé jealous.
I’ve tried a few of Vivi’s super cute, super diverse teas…from creamy “Matcha Milk Tea” with tapioca to refreshing “Fruit Tea Aloe” with jelly. But my favorite so far is the “Honeydew Tea” with extra ice. GET this tea and WALK down to Pier A and LOVE your life.
For those of you new to Bubble Tea = it’s a cold, frothy drink made with iced tea, sweetened milk or other flavorings, and usually with sweet black balls or “pearls” made from tapioca.
What’s cool about Vivi’s is the personalization of your order…from amount of sugar, ice, tapioca, jelly, etc. Sort of like the Starbucks of bubble tea. And there are some pretty crazy specials like “Red Moo Milk”, “Caramel Macchiato”, and “Chocolate & Cookie.” My advice? Try everything on this menu. No excuses because there are several locations in our tri-state area.
