Working out when you have children can be a luxury, since it’s not always easy to call upon a babysitter to get a quick sweat in. That’s why we we put together a list of some local fitness and workout classes {suggested by a local mama herself} that have childcare or even better — allow the kiddies to join in the fun while you work out. Here are local fitness spots in Hoboken that allow children to participate or include childcare:

Asana Soul Practice {411 Jefferson Street}

Although only available for babies 6 months and under, the Baby Soul class at Asana Soul Practice is a great way to get back into yoga post delivery. Plus, you won’t have the new mom worry of leaving your baby with a sitter. Wrap up your baby and bring him/her along. New clients get 2 weeks of unlimited yoga + meditation for $35.

Vepo Clean

Hudson Yoga Project {44 Hudson Place}

Downtown at Hudson Yoga Project they have a 5-week series called “Flow with your Toddler” that allows mom and toddler to breathe, stretch, and work out together. The classes are run by another local mom, Eszter Boross. In her words, “I design the well paced yoga classes in a way that it is easy to exit and to reenter the flow. Moms (or Dads) are invited to do as much yoga as they can — spiced up with the presence and often participation of their toddlers. It is yoga, fun and bonding!” New students — use code ‘HOBOKENGIRL’ for a 5-class pack for $59.
